Feature 4: Shae, Jordon, Carmen, & Zack
Welcome to our web-site! It's your doorway into our never-say-never neighborhood and we'll be updating it from time to time.
The truth in our case is stranger than fiction. Len heard Carmen singing in a swanky club outside of Milwaukee and said, "Hey, do you wanna be on our record?" Lenny cornered Jordon at a vocal jazz concert after he confessed his favorite band to be Earth, Wind and Fire. Shae's mother happened to meet Len while he was celebrating his birthday and said, "Remember my daughter Shae? You were her first piano teacher. Well you should see and hear her now. She is a singer and you should put her on your record!" And Zack, that's me. Well I just found all of them and invited myself along.
Can't say we're birds of a feather but we're all in together over this music. Hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.
Stay tuned,
-Zack

The Producers: Len Hardt & Lenny K
He was 13 when he played his first paying gig. The 4 piece band split twenty-five dollars, with five left over for expenses. Back in the day you could rent a U-haul trailer for that. After that night, choices in life for Len Hardt seemed a little easier. He'd fallen hard in love with the popular song. The relationship has lasted for decades and guides his passions to this day.
Playing guitar in a garage band, he was offered a spot with a Brazilian jazz group, if he switched to bass and brought along his saxophone. Even at 16, Lenny K was emerging as a multiple-threat kind of guy. With a picture of George Martin hanging in his room, he used his high school earnings from the local movie theatre to pay for classes in recording engineering. Add in an off the charts joy of salsa dancing and what do you get? All that it is, he brings to this Feature 4 album.
Two "L guys", bridging generations and technologies, two why-not-now song dreaming guys with enough glue and guts to spread around and then some, that's who produced this record.
